cpap :dont

What is CPAP therapy? CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure. A CPAP machine provides air at a prescribed pressure through a tube and CPAP mask to a person with Obstructive Sleep Apnea. CPAP therapy provides a constant airflow which holds the airway open so that uninterrupted breathing is maintained during sleep. This eliminates sleep apnea events and allows the patient to get a restful sleep. The pressure of the air is determined during your sleep study and your doctor will prescribe you a CPAP machine at that pressure. CPAP therapy is traditionally provided through a nasal mask that seals around the nose. However, more innovative and comfortable options are available and advances in the delivery of CPAP therapy are continually occurring. For instance: CPAPs with that boast FLEX or EPS technology will offer you exhalation relief. APAP, BiPAP and BiLevel machines offer various levels of pressure throughout the night and exhalation relief.

50 percent of sleep apnea patients are normal weight. It’s not true that obesity causes sleep apnea. Whatever is causing obesity is also causing sleep apnea. Some sleep apnea sufferers have endocrine disorders such as hypothyroid, cushing’s syndrome and/or diabetes……

You’re wonderful ! I hope the CPAP is helping you….I Just got a Respironics and I’m still getting used to wearing it….I wear it for a few hours before going to bed (watching TV so nobody sees me!) I’m looking forward to my first night’s sleep in years. 2 friends have CPAPs and they say their lives have totally changed. No more blood pressure pills and they lost alot of weight. SLEEP IS VITAL !!!!!!!

its funny you using humor. My husband has been told he might have sleep apnia and I’m worried seeing you make jokes about the masks makes me feel alittle less frighted that he might have sleep apneia. thanks for calming my nerves!

All of us Snorkle Klowns should form a marching group, and march in formation down the street in the Macy’s Parade with our CPAP headgear on.

Google CPAP Pro if you are looking for a much more comfortable CPAP headgear. It’s the best invention since the CPAP machine.

@GirlCat82 the most frightening thing about sleep apnea is not knowing you have it. if he does have it and he gets his machine he will notice a big difference in his sleep once he get comfortable with the mask. i have a bipap with a mask that covers my nose and mouth. i’m working on getting one with the humidifier because the airflow dries my mouth a throat out

You’re an absolute joy to watch and listen to :-) I’m getting fitted for my first CPAP mask next month and you’ve just helped to make it less scary and more FUN in 3 minutes than in the last 3 weeks :-) Huge HUGS to you, you’re wonderful :-) xxx

It is insane how much money home medical suppliers make off of these. I use an F&P HC431FlexiFit. This mask has an MSRP of $125. My supplier charges our insurance nearly $1300 for it.

Would be cool if you filmed yourself doing the Beyonce Single Ladies dance with your headgear on !!

You should get a CPAP Pro headgear instead. It is MUCH more comfortable than this type of headgear. I lvoe my CPAP Pro.

  22. amykomatic / Jan 24 2012

OMG, I love your hair! SO beautiful! I hope your cpap therapy is going well. I usually have to put my hair in a really tight pony tail to keep the mask in place correctly. My mask headgear is a lot simpler than this one though

Oh sweetheart, there simply is no way to look cute in CPAP. That is one of the hardest thing for us women to come to grips with. It’s like asking a women to be OK with making themselves look unattractive. Not gonna happen.

About a month ago I was struggling with the straps, on my CPAP. I was untangling the straps and got nailed in my eye. It was gross. The white of my eye was ALL red from a popped blood vessel. Ewwwww!

She’s sexy. I’d cum all over her face and titties. No lie.
